Overview
In 2024, I worked on the optimization of FlexShopper’s Bundle Product Detail Page,
a key part of the e-commerce experience where users evaluate and purchase bundled products. The goal of this initiative was to improve transparency, usability, and flexibility within the bundle experience, enabling users to clearly understand what was included, explore detailed specifications for each item, and customize
their selection by adding or removing products. Ultimately, the optimization aimed
to increase user confidence, engagement, and conversion on bundle PDPs.

Over the course of the project, I collaborated closely with cross-functional partners including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders. My focus was on the end to end user experience for the bundle PDP, from information architecture and interaction design to hi-fi UI and handoff. This included restructuring how bundle content was presented, improving visual hierarchy, and introducing interaction patterns that supported item-level exploration and selection.

This work was completed as part of an iterative, collaborative product development process, with frequent design reviews and feedback loops to ensure alignment with business goals, technical constraints, and FlexShopper’s broader design system. The result was a more intuitive, flexible, and confidence-driven bundle PDP experience that better supports both user needs and business outcomes.

Understanding the Bundle PDP Problem Space
At the start of this initiative, I partnered with the stakeholders to understand the challenges impacting FlexShopper’s bundle Product Detail Page experience. While bundles offered strong value, users struggled to clearly understand the prices of what was included, access detailed product information, and feel confident in their purchasing decisions.
Designing an effective solution required balancing user needs for clarity and control with business requirements
around pricing, leasing, and consistency across PDPs. Although these needs were distinct, they were closely connected, improving transparency and usability for users directly supported FlexShopper’s conversion and engagement goals.

The Solution
With a clear understanding of the problem space and success criteria, I moved into execution. The final bundle PDP design focused on clarity, flexibility, and ease of use, ensuring users could quickly understand what’s included, explore item-level details, and customize their bundle with confidence.

The optimized layout introduces a clear visual hierarchy that prioritizes bundle contents, item specifications, and pricing information. Interactive selection controls allow users to add or remove items within the bundle, while expandable sections support progressive disclosure of product details without overwhelming the page. The final design aligns with FlexShopper’s existing design system, creating a cohesive experience across PDPs while elevating the usability of bundled offerings.

Impact
The optimized bundle PDP reduced friction and improved clarity throughout the decision-making process. Users were better able to understand bundle contents, evaluate product details, and feel confident in their selections, resulting in a more intuitive and trust-building shopping experience.

From a business perspective, the improvements helped position bundles as a clearer, more compelling option within the FlexShopper marketplace. Early feedback and usability validation indicated stronger engagement with bundle content and increased confidence at key conversion points, supporting FlexShopper’s broader goals around bundle performance and customer satisfaction.
